Curriculum

The IMM Global Executive MBA program’s curriculum is designed to give you a broad understanding of core management principles, while at the same time, provide you with the tools to apply theory to practice in global settings.

The program is structured to build on itself. Initial courses in areas such as economics, business analytics, and finance will give you the proper grounding to move into more advanced topics like international negotiating and cross border investments. Our action learning course will challenge you to put all that you’ve learned into practice. You’ll be assigned a problem facing a company. Along with a team, you’ll develop a solution and present it to top corporate representatives and professors.

Highlights

Emphasis on teamwork. Teams rotate to simulate the diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and insights of the teams and organizations you’ll work with and manage as a global decision-maker.

One company, multiple countries. You’ll visit different operations of the same multinational company to see how their managers and employees adapt to local cultures, resources, and customers.

Learn by doing. Our action learning course spans two residencies. You and your teammates will serve in a consultant-type role, devising and proposing a solution to a company’s pressing (and real) business problem.

Custom case studies. Our distinguished faculty members create custom case studies that relate to the cities and regions you’ll visit, allowing you to not just read about business scenarios, but to engage with them up-close.

Technologically aided. You’ll receive an iPad as part of your tuition on which you’ll be able to access 90% of your course materials like ebooks and other materials (also included in your tuition). A variety of online tools will enhance your distance learning courses as well.
