Doing Business in Asia

This two credit hour course will be comprised of an on-site visit to Asia by the students. Students will participate in guest lectures by Asian scholars, business people, and government officials discussing the various aspects of doing business in Asia. Topics to be in covered will include Marketing, Human Resource issues, the Legal Aspects of doing business in Asia, a discussion of the Strategy on entering Asia for business and a general discussion of the Asian economy. Students will have the opportunity to visit various plants located in Asia and will also undertake cultural activities to better understand the environment.
