West Lafayette, Indiana

Founded in 1869, Purdue University is a state-wide university system with students on five campuses and at numerous teaching sites throughout Indiana. The University has over 65,000 students enrolled in its programs and 15,000 faculty and staff across the entire system. The University is renowned for the quality of its teaching and research in many disciplines, most notably in engineering, agriculture, technology, and management. It has had over 22 alumni selected for space flight. Purdue astronauts include the first man to set foot on the moon, Neil A. Armstrong, and the last to leave it, Eugene A. Cernan. Since its founding nearly 50 years ago, the Krannert School of Management has provided professional management training to people from a variety of backgrounds and was among the first graduate programs to foresee the developing interaction between business and technology.


Tilburg, The Netherlands

For over 70 years, Tilburg University has been a highly-regarded institution with a strong international orientation and in recent years has developed, through TiasNimbas Business School, a strong presence in executive education. Established in 1991, Central European University is an internationally recognized institute of post-graduate education in the social sciences and humanities. CEU Business School is a landmark institution in the region since its inception in 1988 by a group of visionary leaders including George Soros. It was the first educational institution in the Central-Eastern European region to train managers by offering a western graduate business program leading to an American MBA. The IMM cooperates with two leading Asian institutions during its China in-residency sessions: Tsinghua University, in Beijing and Sufe (Shanghai University of Finance and Economics), in Shanghai.

Tsinghua University, Beijing

Tsinghua University was established in 1911. At present, the university has 14 schools and 56 departments with faculties in science, engineering, humanities, law, medicine, history, philosophy, economics, management, education and art. The University has now over 25,900 students, including 13,100 undergraduates and 12,800 graduate students. As one of China’s most renowned universities, Tsinghua has become an important institution for fostering talent and scientific research. With the motto of “Self-Discipline and Social Commitment" and the spirit of “Actions Speak Louder than Words", Tsinghua University is dedicated to the well-being of Chinese society and to world development.

Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Shanghai

The Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (SUFE), founded in 1917, is a top-ranked, world-renowned research university. Focusing on Applied Economics and Management Science, SUFE’s approach is multidisciplinary, utilizing elements of finance, economics, management, law and science. In 1981, SUFE became the first financial university awarded the right to grant doctoral degrees. In addition, it was among the first nine schools to be selected as an MBA Experimental Education Base and one of the first schools to set up a post-doctoral program in economics. In 2002, SUFE became the first mainland university to offer master’s programs in Hong Kong. Moreover, all of its programs continue to exceed world standards and are imbued with modernity, internationality and cutting-edge information.

The IMM Program has teamed up with IPADE Business School, Mexico City and IESDE in Puebla, Mexico for the Latin-American in-residency session.

IPADE Business School, Mexico City

The Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresa (IPADE) is the Universidad Panamericana’s School of Business. Founded in Mexico City in 1967 by several prominent business leaders, it has since graduated over 25,000 students. IPADE is the first institution in Mexico to center its work on attaining excellence in general management through a process that develops managerial skills by applying the knowledge mastered to practical uses. IPADE’s quality and consistency has merited its being ranked among the most outstanding business schools in the world.

IESDE, Puebla

The main objective of El Instituto de Estudios Superiores en Dirección de Empresas de México, A. C. (The Institute for Advanced Studies in Business in Mexico, A. C.) is to further develop the business managerial skills of the Directors and Senior Management of the Mexican companies in order to allow them to more effectively meet the challenges of the increasingly demanding, global society.
