An Online Executive MBA Program
Just like an online executive MBA program, the IMM program offers the flexibility of distance learning in between the in-residencies.
- Each participant is expected to have access to a personal computer and the Internet, both to complete course assignments that require computer applications and to communicate with the faculty and the other program participants.
- Between residencies, the IMM Program participants have remote interactive access to each other and to the faculty via the Internet, supplemented by the resources of the four Schools' computer centers.
- Software and databases can be called up and used for off-campus assignments. Assignments are transmitted to the faculty electronically and returned to the participant in the same manner.
- A central website provides the course materials, a discussion forum for each course, and data on the program participants. Hence, even when dispersed, study groups can interact productively and efficiently, maintaining the group dynamic that makes the residential sessions a team effort in learning.
- From 2011 most of the books are available only in e-book format. iPads are given to all participants at the program launch.
